Residencies & Internships

NMPC provides opportunities for students to enter the world of radiation oncology.

Residencies

Visit MedPhys Match

We have a CAMPEP-accredited residency program with four residencies for graduates of a CAMPEP-accredited graduate medical physics program.

Internships

Apply at our Careers page

We offer 10-week summer internships to those earning or having recently earned a BS in physics or a physics-related field (similar to the AAPM internship program).

Students

Visit CWU physics

We have partnered with Central Washington University to offer a degree program emphasis in medical physics for undergraduate majors in physics.

Mock Oral ABR Class

NMPC offers ABR and CCPM mock oral boards in preparation for the board examinations.
  • Virtual & Accessible: All sessions are conducted conveniently via Webex. Simply connect with a webcam to participate from anywhere.
  • Focus on Communication: Our primary emphasis is on developing clear, concise, and effective oral communication. While medical physics content feedback is provided, the core training targets presentation and clarity.
  • Personalized & Focused: Each 2-hour session is conducted with just one other participant, ensuring focused attention and a highly interactive experience.
  • Flexible Enrollment: Sign up for a single session to target specific areas, or enroll in multiple sessions for comprehensive preparation.
  • Recordings for Review: Every session is recorded and available for download, allowing you to review your performance and track your progress at your convenience.
  • Post-Session Resources: A hard copy of each examination will be provided upon completion, offering valuable material for further study.

Community Education & Outreach

We seek to expand scientific knowledge in the communities we serve.

Leadership

View our physicists’ publications

Our physicists are leaders in the clinic and the community. They serve in The American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), Northwest Chapter of the AAPM, and The American Board of Radiology (ABR) as officers, examiners, board members, committee chairs, and more.
